All transit recipients of Federal funds are required to prepare and update their Transit Plans every 5 to 6 years as part of metropolitan planning requirements adhered to by SLOCOG. The resulting plans are typically prepared by a third party and present independent recommendations. As part of the regional goal to integrate programs, sub-area transit plans comprising operators are replacing individual short range transit plans. Current plans are available below.
