Every two years, SLOCOG conducts a programming round to allocate funds to projects based on apportionments of regional Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ), Regional Surface Transportation Program (RSTP), and State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) funds. These funds are programmed as part of SLOCOG’s Regional Transportation Improvement Program and commits discretionary funding for transportation projects to create mobility choices to connect communities.
Project applications are solicited from public agencies and their partners located in San Luis Obispo County, including the cities of San Luis Obispo, Grover Beach, Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, Atascadero, and Paso Robles.
