This project, led by the City of San Luis Obispo, is a portion of the Anza Trail that runs from Cal Poly to Tank Farm Road, envisioned to one day serve as a connector to the Coastal Trail and eventually the Chorro Valley Trail. The City of San Luis Obispo was awarded an Active Transportation Program grant from the California Transportation Commission to complete the segment of the Railroad Safety Trail from Taft St. to Pepper St. This project was completed in 2021.
