The Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Prioritization Tool helps SLOCOG make bicycle & pedestrian infrastructure investment decisions. The tool uses data to identify schools most ready for and in need of bicycle and pedestrian capital investments. The tool ranks schools through three broad categories:
- School readiness
- Internal need
- External need
