Social Services Transportation Advisory Council (SSTAC) provides advice as recommendations to staff and SLOCOG Board on transit issues. Membership includes:
- One user representative who is over 60 years old appointed by SLOCOG.
- One user representative who is disabled appointed by SLOCOG.
- Two representatives of local social service providers for seniors (including one representative of a social service transportation provider) appointed by the Area Agency on Aging (or County Department of Social Services) and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
- Three representatives of local social service providers for persons with disabilities (including one representative of a social service transportation provider) appointed by the Tri-counties Regional Center (or County Department of Social Services), Runabout (Regional Transit Authority) and NCI affiliates.
- Two representatives of local social service providers for persons of limited means appointed by the Community Action Partnership (CAPSLO) and the County Department of Social Services (DSS).
- Two representatives from the Consolidated Transportation Services Agency (CTSA), including one CTSA customer and one representative from the operating side, appointed by Ride-On Transportation.
- Two representatives from local transit operators appointed by the Regional Transit Advisory Committee (i.e. advisory body among JPA members within the Regional Transit Authority and other representatives).
