Surveys Conducted February – August 2021

In 2021, SLOCOG conducted five surveys on the following topics: Commute & Travel, Transportation Funding & Investments, Housing & New Growth, Technology, and Health & the Environment. Survey results are available here.

Speakers Bureau (in 2021)

In 2021, SLOCOG staff met with a myriad of local agencies, working groups, and organizations to provide presentations on the 2023 RTP and the five surveys that were available at that time. The Speakers Bureau will rev up again when we need to get the word out about the draft document, public webinar, public comment period, and public hearings.

RTP Steering Committee

An ad hoc committee was formed to guide the 2023 RTP and includes participants that meet Senate Bill(SB) 375 stakeholder category requirements to participate. The committee is comprised of representatives from the business, tourism, housing, economic development, multi-modal, environment, and agriculture sectors. It further serves to engage a broad cross-section of participants that may not typically engage in transportation planning activities. Meetings address various topics and sections of the plan at key milestones during the process.

Meeting notes and materials are available here.
