CALeVIP South Central Coast Incentive Project

Electric Vehicle Charger Program - coming August 5, 2021!

The California Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Project (CALeVIP) South Central Coast Incentive Project, offering incentives for the purchase and installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure at publicly accessible sites, is coming to San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties on August 5, 2021. CALeVIP addresses regional needs for EV charging infrastructure throughout California, while supporting state goals to improve air quality, combat climate change and reduce petroleum use.

The program will be implemented by the Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE) and will provide up to $6,000 per connector for level 2 chargers and up to $80,000 per DC fast charger. For more information, see the CALeVIP South Central Coast Incentive Project web site.

Funded jointly by the California Energy Commission and local agencies such as SLO County APCD, 3C Energy and SLOCOG, and implemented by CSE, CALeVIP provides incentives to develop projects that meet current and future regional EV needs for Level 2 and DC fast charging. The statewide efforts aim to provide a streamlined process for getting chargers installed to fill significant gaps in charging availability.
