SSTAC

Social Services Transportation Advisory Council (SSTAC) provides advice as recommendations to staff and SLOCOG Board on transit issues. Membership includes:

  • One user representative who is over 60 years old appointed by SLOCOG.

  • One user representative who is disabled appointed by SLOCOG.

  • Two representatives of local social service providers for seniors (including one representative of a social service transportation provider) appointed by the Area Agency on Aging (or County Department of Social Services) and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.

  • Two representatives of local social service providers for disabled (including one representative of a social service transportation provider) appointed by the Tri-counties Regional Center (or County Department of Social Services) and Runabout (Regional Transit Agency).

  • One representative of a local social service provider for persons of limited means appointed by the Economic Opportunity Commission.

  • Two representatives from the consolidated transportation services agency (including one representative from the operator, and one from the user) appointed by Ride-On.

  • Two representatives from local transit operators appointed by the Regional Transit Authority Advisory Committee.

  • One representative from a local social service provider for youth appointed by SLOCOG.
